I sculpted some more today but dont really have anything cool to show for it so I did a quickie as an update. Approximatively 1h paint, didn't have a plan at the start but it was fun and good practice. I should do more.
Hopefully more Zack action tomorrow.
A little under the weather today but I hope to be able to get back to work tomorrow.

Here is another update for the Polycount Brawl contest. It is insane how many cool contributions there are. I am blown away by the skill of todays character modeller. Check them out if you get the chance!

Things are moving ahead rather nicely but at a slow pace. Starting to come to terms with the culpting app now though so things are looking up.

I am a slightly intoxicated posting this and drinking while drawing is almost never a good combination. At least not to me.
I just felt the urge to update my blog today as well so I threw this together. Dunno how I will feel about it tomorrow but for tonight it seems fine. I am just throwing random stuff down without fear and shaping it into something more like a painting. I hope you dig!

This is another Polycount Brawl update. A rough blockin of the character to see how things are relating to each other in 3d. A lot of tweaking will be made and I will do another concept art pass over this to add some details. There are turntables as well so if you feel like it check out my thread over at PC:

Polycount Brawl Update.

Too long since update etx, etc.
Anyhow, There is a contest on Polycount, the Polycount Brawl!

It is a contest where you are to take character from a fighting game and reinvent that character in some more or less interesting way.

I thought of characters that I care for in some way or the other and Final Fantasy 7 came to mind as it always seem to do. There also happens to be a fighting game called Ehrgeiz where some of the FF7 cast makes an appearence so here we go.
Zack Fair in a Gears of War inspiered universe, with som added cartoon style. Let us see where this takes us.
